Bob Haberfield

 

Born 1938 Sydney Australia. Attended Melbourne Art College. Taught by Clifton Pugh and later turned to abstract surrealism under the influence of Ian Sime. Worked as art director and graphic designer in advertising until leaving Australia in 1966. Lived in Paris designing and illustrating classical record sleeves for EMI. Worked in UK from 1968 illustrating book jackets which were influenced by Eastern art, religion and culture. Later from the 1980's did  general illustration while continuing to paint privately. Now retired and living in North Wales.
